“ I find it so amazing when people tell me that electronic music has no soul. You can’t blame the computer. If there’s no soul in the music, it’s because nobody put it there. ”

ABOUT ME
Hello, there & Namaste!
My name is Abhash “Inklin’ A” Dey and I am currently dwelling in the suburbs of Delhi, India. I am an electronic music producer, but way more than that I am an audiophile, a huge music & sound enthusiast, and a conscious individual. Researching on various genres of music & sound art is pretty much what I have done in my wake-time since childhood.
Initially, there were just Bollywood, Ghazal, Qawwali, Sufi & Indian Classical music around. But as time passed Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Metal & lately EDM scenes became common in colleges & parties. It was a high time when I was hit by underground electronic music, particularly Goa Trance. And that’s when I started “Diggin’ Deep” into electronic music to experience many unexplored & unexpected realms of human consciousness through a rush of emotions & thoughts, evoked by various unconventional electronic music genres.
I believe taking people on a journey is the fundamental element of underground dance music, and so, the idea behind the website is to get you aboard on the journey to explore the unknown through electronic music. We will come across numerous facets of electronic music & their talented creators with unique personalities who are/were more than musicians as they continue to influence new breeds of musicians around the globe & their MUSIC of course! So, SELECT your TOOL & come start diggin’ with me from ROOTS TO SPACE!
Peace & Chill!

ABOUT MUSIC
A stereo system puts out vibrations that travel through the air and somehow get inside the ear canal. These vibrations fickle the eardrum and are transmitted into an electrical signal that travels through the auditory nerve to the brain stem, where it is reassembled into something we perceive as “music”. This is what science has to say about it. I believe music is an artform & it has potential to alter a person’s state of consciousness. It acts as a medicine for the mind. Researchers have found a galaxy of benefits ranging from memory improvement, creativity to stress relief. There are few things that stimulate the brain the way music does. It’s a great tool that provides a total brain workout.
Underground music comprises musical genres beyond mainstream culture. Any song that is not being legally commercialized is considered underground. Such music may tend to express common ideas, such as high regard for sincerity and intimacy, freedom of creative expression as opposed to the highly formulaic composition of commercial music, and appreciation of artistic individuality as opposed to conformity to current mainstream trends.
The term has been applied to various artistic movements, for instance, the psychedelic music movement of the mid-1960s, but the term has in more recent decades come to be defined by any musicians who tend to avoid the trappings of the mainstream commercial music industry otherwise it tells only truth through the music.
Frank Zappa attempted to define “underground” by noting that the “mainstream comes to you, but you have to go to the underground.”
Now, there are wide varieties of music genres that are distinguished from musical form, style & the instruments used. As I love mental imaging with music, the genre that tempts me the most is Electronic music. The sound of some genres like Techno & Trance build up beautiful & profound soundscapes in the head and take you places you have never been before. Scroll down to find the full list of genres featured on this website. So, choose your stuff & let’s get started.
